Where Learning Meets Peace

(5)·By Kashmala S·Sports Science· Jun 2026
Studying Nutrition and Dietetics at university is a decision I truly never regret. The university has a calm and peaceful atmosphere that helps clear your mind and makes it easier to focus on both your studies and your wellbeing. The university feels safe, welcoming, and supportive, which makes a real difference when you’re adjusting to university life. The lecturers are amazing and incredibly knowledgeable, but what really stands out is how well they teach. They don’t just deliver information—they genuinely help you understand the material, explain concepts clearly, and are always willing to support you if you’re struggling. You never feel like just a number here.

Student life has honestly been better than I ever expected. I’ve met amazing people who I know will be friends for life, and I really enjoy spending time with them, whether that’s going for walks around campus or grabbing coffee together. These small moments have become some of the best parts of my university experience.

I don’t commute; I moved out, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made. Living independently has helped me grow, learn responsibility, and experience the reality of life in a positive way. Accommodation has been an exciting experience too, especially living with other students and building friendships while sharing a space.

Support is one of the strongest aspects of the university. During tough times, you feel listened to and cared for, and it’s easy to reach out for help. Whether it’s academic or personal support, there’s always someone you feel comfortable talking to. The sense of community is strong, and everyone is friendly and approachable.

The campus itself is beautiful, with well-designed, comfortable buildings and lots of green spaces that create a peaceful environment. It’s a place where you feel safe, relaxed, and motivated to learn.

If there’s anything that could be improved, it would be having more social activities and events happening regularly, as well as more food options on campus, particularly halal food choices. Overall, the university offers not just a great education, but a genuinely positive and supportive experience, and I’m really grateful I chose to study here.

Building My Future, One Lecture at a Time

(5)·By Kashmala S·Food / Beverage Studies· Jun 2026
Student life has honestly been such a good experience for me. I’m really enjoying my independence — it’s fun, but also a big step in growing as a person. I’ve seen so much personal growth in myself since starting university. I moved three hours away from home to a completely new city to study Nutrition and Dietetics, working towards becoming a Registered Dietitian. It was a big change, but also an exciting one. Living in accommodation has been really comfortable. I love that I can decorate my space exactly how I want and make it feel like my own. Of course, it can get a bit lonely at times, but that’s all part of the experience and learning to be independent. The social side is nice too — it’s quite calm and chilled, which I actually enjoy. There’s always something to do, and I get to spend time with my friends, which makes everything better. Overall, university life has been a mix of independence, growth, and good moments.

Sports / Sports Science, Graduate

Lots to do in the social and sports aspect. Really good to meet everyone who has similar interests and develop these through the week at different venues/events Really nice. I was in EBB so very spacious and lots of flat mates who luckily I got along with really well. Clearers once a week and 24 hour security Good facility's. Students Union is fairly small but the other social aspects has larger places in town. Used a lot of the sports areas in university and outside of uni time which was very accessible I found the course really interesting and have progressed in my field since graduating. Lecturers were really good and helpful, they went above and beyond to help us feel confident in whatever we were learning I enjoyed it. I enjoy that it was small enough that you could pop into town and run into a load of people you know. It makes it really easy to make friends in your first few months as you are always running into various people. Good nightlife

Geography, Year 3

Confusing. Due to being a dual Subject student The uni didn't timetable my lessons well so I was often double booked in the open weeks when I was meant to meet others and it made it stressful. Great accommodation high quality facilities love space to work in and if there was any problems they was fixed fast. Student union needs improvement too small and it should attempt to rival clubs rather than go with them as it would save money. Library and sports hub are brilliant. Great lecturers really helpful and positive they have so much time for you it is amazing and makes you feel so welcome Great being from a smaller area I liked that Worcester was a bigger place with more going on but not too much that it would overwhelm me.

Education / Teacher Training, Year 3

(5)·By Jack S·Education / Teacher Training· Jul 2021
It was really good, the whole course got together and we had a lot of fun nights out that really bonded the course before the course really started. The venues were also really good, they really made freshers a great experience. The accommodation I was in was a bit small, and we were packed into rooms that weren't that big, also the kitchen was often packed with people and general high-gene was not great because of other flat mates, but then again I was in the lower blocks, the higher tier ones were a lot better Very good Very interactive, hands on and lecturers were great at teaching Lovely, the city is gorgeous the people are lovely and the night life is amazing
