The commute is perfect as it is in central London.

(5)·By Opeyemi Y·Law· Jun 2026
The course is good but could be better arranged. The social scene is also great.

I love my university; there is a lot of support for students, and I appreciate their global bursary. I also love the university facilities, library, and team.

Architecture BA Hons at Westminster

(5)·By Alisha K·Architecture· Jun 2026
Studying Architecture BA Hons at the University of Westminster has been an inspiring and challenging experience. The studio culture is intense but supportive, with tutors who push you to think critically about design, context, sustainability, and social impact while helping you develop real-world skills from concept to detailed construction. Being based in London is a huge advantage, as the city becomes an extension of the studio through site visits, exhibitions, and constant architectural inspiration. Although the workload is demanding, the growth in confidence, design thinking, and technical ability makes it incredibly rewarding. I would highly recommend Westminster Architecture to anyone looking for a forward-thinking and meaningful course.

The social life is really good; however, it could be improved by introducing more practical learning in laboratories.

The university offers a great range of courses and excellent campuses. Teaching quality has been greatly improving, and professors are engaging and active in supporting your learning. The social life is vibrant, with many societies and clubs to join, and there are lots of friendly students. The university is also located in a great area of central London near Soho and Oxford Street, providing access to a wide variety of restaurants, shops, and other activities.

Westminster review

(5)·By Nail O·Fine Art· Jun 2026
I study Fashion Business Management at the University of Westminster and my experience has been genuinely positive, especially in terms of career exposure. The course is very industry-focused rather than purely academic. Much of our work is based on real brand scenarios, product development, and market positioning, so you don’t feel like you’re just memorising theory for exams. Many tutors come from the fashion industry, which makes the feedback practical and relevant to actual careers. Because of this, I felt prepared going into my placement year and was able to work directly in buying and PR roles, which I don’t think I would have been ready for otherwise.

The London location makes a huge difference. You’re surrounded by brands, showrooms, and events while studying, so the industry never feels far away. It makes networking and gaining experience much easier compared to universities outside London, and you naturally build contacts without even planning it. The student environment is also very international and open-minded, which I personally enjoyed because you meet people from very different backgrounds and perspectives. It doesn’t feel like a closed campus bubble—your university life blends into the city.

Overall, if you are proactive and career-driven, Westminster gives you access to the industry while you are still studying, which is its biggest advantage. It suits students who want real experience during university rather than waiting until after graduation.

Lovely time at the University of Westminster.

(5)·By Becca H·Legal Studies· Jun 2026
I completed my LLB and LPC LLM at the University of Westminster and had a great experience. I volunteered at the Legal Advice Clinic and spent time with tutors to ask questions, learn more about the industry, and gain valuable connections. My commute from private accommodation was easy, and I never had any issues. I made friends in all my courses and have become great friends with many people, including my tutors and course leader. Communication with everyone was excellent, expectations were clear, and there was plenty of help both during and after classes. I would love to return for another degree at some point, but I highly recommend coming here. There is so much support and opportunity for growth.

The course was very interactive, and the commute was very easy as someone who lives just outside of London. The teaching was engaging, and the support was unmatched. The university personally helped me get my diagnosis of dyslexia at the age of 21 and has been extremely caring and supportive since then.
