University of Portsmouth

Student life is good, and I’m enjoying it. Maybe lecture times could be changed to earlier times.

My course is great considering the workload. I’m really into the university and already feel a part of the community.

Student life here is incredible; I couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else. The vibes are something to die for, especially when surrounded by such incredible people. The course is so interesting and keeps me hooked every day. I look forward to each lecture as an opportunity to grow. The accommodation is top notch—very modern and prestigious, with lots of amenities, privacy, and social opportunities.

I decided last year to go back to university at the age of 32. At first, I was nervous. It’s been nearly 10 years since I last attended university, but honestly, the social scene is so nice. Whether you’re outgoing or prefer staying at home, you can find something to do. The commute is amazing, as it’s on a ferry, so you get a beautiful view, especially in the early mornings. I can’t wait for the summer months when I know there will be a lot more happening. Student life isn’t so hard the second time around—it’s actually more fun, and I’m enjoying everything a lot more.

I am nearly at the end of my degree at Portsmouth, and I have had an amazing experience. The staff have always been incredibly supportive and engaging, and there are so many different services, such as student support, learning development tutors, and the careers service, that are always super helpful! The social life in Portsmouth is also great, and there is a wide range of societies! Overall, my experience at Portsmouth has been amazing, and I am always grateful that I chose Portsmouth for my university experience!

I came here as an international student and feared moving to another city, but being here has actually been calm and chill.

Accommodation is very good and very close to the university buildings—a 5-minute walk to most lecture halls. Local amenities are great, and the course is fantastic with excellent lecturers.

Amazing! I would recommend it to anyone, especially those who are outside of Portsmouth. It's an amazing city with good teachers. I love my course - I'm currently studying construction management and I love everything about it. It comes with great challenges, and personally, I love taking on challenges and exploring new ways and ideas. Love it overall.
