Youll get the knowledge and academic skills needed to take on a bachelors degree, learning how to analyse information, do research, and improve your academic writing.<br/><br/>The skills youll learn will help you work in teams as well as on your own in culturally diverse workplaces. Youll develop your understanding of new workplaces and environments, and how to adapt to new environments.<br/><br/>When youve finished, youll be ready to move onto the first year of BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance.<br/><br/><strong>A guaranteed place</strong><br/>Once you’ve successfully completed your foundation year, youll be ready to progress onto BA (Hons) Accounting with Finance with a guaranteed place. <br/><br/><strong>Course highlights</strong><br/>• ICP is based on the University of Portsmouth campus so youll have access to all facilities, support and societies<br/><br/><br/><br/>• When you finish your foundation year successfully, you get a guaranteed place on BA (Hons) Accounting with Finance<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Get used to how lectures, seminars and tutorials work, so you can move onto your degree ready for success<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Learn how to meet the demands of taking on a bachelors degree at university.<br/><br/><br/><br/><strong>Careers and opportunities</strong><br/>Accountants are needed in good times and bad and theyre needed in every type of business. This means that you can apply your skills in any sector youre passionate about, from sports and entertainment, to manufacturing, charities, or the arts.<br/><br/>After this foundation year, youll be able to go on to study BA (Hons) Accounting with Finance, where graduates go on to work in accounting practice, the finance departments of large corporations, and the finance sector.<br/><br/>Youll also be able to work in other parts of the world as your accredited qualification is recognised internationally.
