Overview
In a post-Brexit and Covid era, supply chain management is in high demand. If youre ready to explore this exciting career path, but dont meet the entry requirements, have taken a break from study, or want extra support to get uni-ready, then this foundation year course is for you.

Youll study for one year through ICP, right here on campus. Youll get the knowledge and academic skills needed to take on a bachelors degree, learning how to analyse information, do research, and improve your academic writing.

The skills youll learn will help you work in teams as well as on your own in culturally diverse workplaces. Youll develop your understanding of new workplaces and environments, and how to adapt to new environments.

When youve finished, youll be ready to move onto the first year of BSc (Hons) Business and Supply Chain Management.

Careers and opportunities
Supply chain management is needed everywhere and theres a great shortage of supply chain skills in the UK. You could work in retail, healthcare, manufacturing, shipping and freight, charities or the public sector - the choice is yours.

Pay is good; the average salary for all UK procurement and supply chain professionals is £49,743 (CIPS Salary Guide 2022) and there are many varied routes for career progression, including working overseas.
