For the BSc (Hons) version of this course you will complete an honours project on a topic of your choosing.<br/><br/>Nurses work as part of a team alongside doctors, therapists, pharmacists, and healthcare assistants. You will work with patients and their families supporting them through challenging situations.<br/><br/>You will spend 50% of your time learning on campus and the other 50% on placements in hospitals and community settings. Your placements help you develop the hands-on skills needed to work in healthcare.<br/><br/>You will attend workshops and interactive sessions at the Clinical Skills Centre, in Ninewells Hospital. You will build your confidence by participating in acted patient scenarios which take place in our state of the art simulated hospital ward.<br/><br/>Completing this course gives you both an academic and professional qualification that leads to you becoming a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
