This course will equip graduates with the skills and knowledge to make an effective contribution to the equine industry. You will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to successfully establish and run a range of equine businesses both in the UK and further afield. You will develop the knowledge and skills to enable you to continue learning at postgraduate level, or to transfer skills and knowledge into a different future career path. <br/><br/>Graduates will manage the overall care of horses in a range of equine disciplines and settings such as nutritional advisors, yard managers, stud yards, the racing industry, welfare and animal/equine behaviour.<br/><br/>This course aims to provide learners with a solid and broad foundation in equine science-based subjects. This foundation will be combined with equine business management subjects to provide you with a range of expertise. <br/><br/>The course is offered at SRUC Oatridge campus, home to the Scottish Equestrian Centre (SNEC).
