Normally Scottish Advanced Higher Portuguese/Spanish grade B or Higher Portuguese/Spanish grade B or National 5 Portuguese grade B or evidence of linguistic ability ie National 5 grade B or equivalent in any other language. GCSE Mathematics grade B/6 or equivalent.
Access to HE Diploma

Successful completion of the Access to HE Diploma with a minimum of 60 credits is required, including 45 credits at Level 3 and 15 at Level 2. + GCSE Mathematics grade B. N.B. Language requirements must also be satisfied - please see A-level entry requirements.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

Successful completion of IB with a total of 33 points including 6, 6, 5 in Higher Level subjects including Portuguese/Spanish. If not offered at Higher Level then Standard Level grade 5 in Mathematics or GCSE Mathematics grade B/6.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)
Successful completion of BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (1080 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) at Level 3) with overall grades D*DD + GCSE Mathematics grade B. N.B. Language requirements must also be satisfied - please see A-level entry requirements.
Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017)

Higher level Portuguese/Spanish grade H3 or Ordinary level grade 03. If Mathematics is not taken at the Higher Level - Ordinary Level grade 03 is required.

Normally A-level Portuguese/Spanish grade B or AS-level Portuguese/Spanish grade B or GCSE Portuguese grade B or evidence of linguistic ability ie GCSE grade B or equivalent in any other language. GCSE Mathematics grade B. A-level General Studies and Critical Thinking are normally excluded from offers. However, the grade achieved may be taken into account when results are published in August and may be used in a tie-break situation.
