Its designed so you can fast-track your route to chartership.<br/><br/>Build your core competencies in urban planning, apply them through a year of professional practice, then refine and specialise them in your final year.<br/><br/>Our degree equips you with the practical knowledge, providing a solid foundation in:<br/>urban planning processes<br/>housing policy<br/>climate change<br/>urban design<br/><br/>Youll also undertake a year of paid professional practice, which contributes towards your professional experience for chartership.<br/><br/>Returning for a final year, you’ll specialise in today and tomorrows key areas of planning. These are currently regeneration, environmental planning, or global sustainable development.<br/><br/>Throughout the MPlan degree we use the real-life example of Newcastle to explore the impact that past, present and future planning decisions can have on existing built environments and communities.<br/><br/>Youll end your degree with valuable professional experience and a dual-accredited postgraduate qualification.
